Our Pastor

Dr. John R. Wright came to Town Center Baptist as our pastor in August of 2006. Dr. Wright is a graduate of Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has spent 30 years in the pastoral ministry. Pastor Wright has gained a reputation as a nationally known Bible conference speaker. As the Director of the Ecclesiastical Law Center’s west coast ministry, he consults with pastors and churches throughout the country on ministry and church-state issues.

Pastor Wright has been married for 41 years to wife Norma, who is his helpmeet in the ministry (and his favorite piano player). The Wright’s have 3 children and 2 grandchildren … none living in Oregon.
